This article lists the various accessories and devices that have been tested and approved for use with Tango Tango.

Mobile OS

The Tango Tango mobile app supports iOS (Apple) and Android operating systems. The minimum required OS versions are as follows:

  • iOS version 13 or later
    • If using a Bluetooth pushbutton, iOS version 16 or later is required (see more).
  • Android version 7 (Nougat) or later

Specialty Devices (with integral PTT button)

The following specialty PTT devices have been verified via testing and are therefore officially supported for Tango Tango PTT. Other devices not listed here may also function properly with Tango Tango, but we have only tested and verified the devices on this list.


NOTE: This list does not show supported standard iOS and Android devices, such as iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices. Tango Tango supports almost all standard iOS and Android smartphones.

Bluetooth Pushbutton Accessories

This section lists PTT button accessories supported by Tango Tango. Other accessories not listed here may also function properly with Tango Tango, but we have only tested and verified the devices on this list.


NOTE: This list does not show standard Bluetooth headset accessories. Tango Tango supports almost all standard Bluetooth headset earphones and microphones.

Live Console

Live Console is the browser-based PTT client. It supports the following browser versions:

  • Chrome 89+
  • Edge 89+

Note: Live Console is currently functional on iOS and MacOS browsers (e.g. Safari), but there are still several unresolved issues that are exclusive to this environment. At this time, running Live Console on Safari is not recommended.
