The "Channels" page allows you to manage the channels in your organization and includes access to:
- Calls
- Members
- Settings
- Adding a New Channel
Calls
Select the "Calls" tab to see a list of calls. Select any specific Call row to get more details.
Members
Select the "Members" tab to view all members of a channel. Select "Add Users" to add your desired team member(s) to your channel.
Navigate to any member and select the trash icon to remove a user from your Members list.
Settings
The "Settings" tab allows you to edit your Channel Name and settings.
Buffering Mode
- NONE will not wait for channel members to join the call before relaying audio
- Hold for Early Joiners (recommended) will hold call audio, up to the "Late Join Threshold" and replay that audio when joining the call. This ensures users who join a call within 3 seconds of the call start will hear all audio from the beginning of the call.
Call Hang Timeout specifies the duration of inactivity on the channel that will cause the call to be automatically ended.
Max Burst Mode prevents a user talking longer than the Max Burst Time. This means that a user can only have the floor up to the Max Burst Time before having to lift and press again to talk.
Add Channel and Members
Select "Add Channel" to create a new channel.
Select the new channel, navigate to "Members", and add your desired team users to the member's list.
To delete a channel, you must first remove all users from the channel.
